I had written to the Ministry expressing my concerns and just yesterday received a blah blah letter stating that they would
a) haul in the winter
b) train their drivers to be aware of the hazards like people parking and the hill and dump entrance
c) provide additional winter sanding
d)speed up the replacement of the bridge on Hawthorne
e)place a 3 way stop sign at the corner where Hawthorne meets the highway
f) inform the community when hauling will occur
Wow do I feel better now….the solutions were so easy!
Nothing to worry about now…those huge loads and trucks and nice slippery roads no problem here! Let’s encourage our young ones to run out to greet them as they roll on by to toot their horns..added entertainment for the kiddies! Oh I forgot snowmobilers can run alongside them and try to keep up with them!

The new arrival in Restoule is Makenna Hamilton, daughter of Travis and Melissa. She weighed in at 7lbs. 81/2 oz. born at 9:53 Friday April 4, 2008. Just two days before Uncle Everett’s. Everyone is doing well, and Kylie Mae will now have protection against all those boys in town!!!.
Restoule will never be the same.

Sorry I forgot to tell you the details, March 22, 2008, at the Community Centre, 2:00, p.m. She thinks it is a Lions Club event. She does not have e-mail so this posting will not be seen by her. This is a pot luck event and there will be entertainment as well.
