Bell Mobility service rep. Clifford Shamy advises that he hopes to see the area serviced for the summer season. Industry Canada is still considering whether or not to require Bell to reapply for site approval and should make a final decision by mid December. Materials for the tower have been ordered. Either way, things are proceeding well.

Does anyone know if Bell has provided a map showing the coverage area of the new proposed cell tower?
Sadly, I’ve been unsuccessful in getting to talk to Clifford Shamy so I don’t know if the necessary info had been forwarded to Jean Mohr, secretary of the board. She can be reached at restoulelsb@efni.com
That is the pattern…..John Woods who preceded Clifford Shamy as the contact at Bell for this project was a shadow as well when people wanted answers. Just another stall tactic……

Will Bell not supply hi-speed Sympatico too? Cliiord Shamy SHOULD know ————either yeah or nay!
At this time I can’t get a Net Spectrum signal and would really prefer Bell ———monthly charges and access are more reliable. We can also bundle.

to remember to ask if Bell is going to supply Internet access. I would expect they would. Even if they don’t, Netspectrum is supposed to move their equipment onto the tower to provide better coverage.

No updates, in fact I’ve been trying for the past month to get a hold of Clifford Shamy for an update. As soon as I hear anything I’ll post it here.

Joan, I’m not sure. After Bell Mobility puts the tower up, I’ve heard Netspectrum wants to go up on the tower to provide both better services and a broader range. If I hear anything I will be sure to post a note. Thanks for your kind word.
